Happy Valentines' Day

How this date does come by? You pondered.

It started in the time of Roman Empire.

The lives of young boys and girls were strictly separated.

However, one of the customs of the young people was to draw.

On the eve of the festival, the names of Roman girls were written on slips of paper and placed into jars.

Each young man would draw a girl's name from the jar and would then be partners for the duration of the festival with the girl whom he chose.

Sometimes the pairing of the children lasted an entire year, and often, they would fall in love and would later marry.

I called it Heaven Made, how bout you.

But well, who could ever be lovelier than my darling? Of course am conscious, it imply only in my splendor world.

Few of us were conferring about affairs and infidelity over a bottle of Moet.

I invariably unearth the most common relationship problem.

What is it that drives a marital partner to engage in an outside liaison?

Life is full of capricious twist and turns. Who knows what's next besides God?

My heart surge whenever I heard of another betrayal.

Why is it happening to my friends one after another?

Naturally, the finger would be accusing towards the one flinging outside. Me? I always believe there are two sides to a coin.

It takes 2 hands to clap, that's for sure.

Something somewhere must have gone off beam before we start looking for love outside to fill up our emotional tank.

Hence, even if it is the smallest minute talk, we should not belittle it.

We gain naught by bottling up our thoughts and feelings.

The more we talk, the more we open a window to the real us.

Friendship is the trait that will allow our relationship to remain strong.

Not that I am a LOVE GURU, but I do read quite a fair bit of books, and attended couple of marriage seminars with bi.

I just thought of sharing the tips here, since it is always that simple striking a marriage conversation over a hot sunny afternoon.

Cultivation of our friendship is one we take pride in. We markedly trust doing things together and going places with one another.

Marriage is a lifetime commitment. And a person's lifetime is an expansive period of time.

Things changed, interests reformed.

Take my netball as an example; as the team captain, I used to fall head over heels with it. And now, you couldn’t pay me enough to a game.

But Mahjong had been a bona fide interest since 8. Desmond, Angie, Esther, Gracee, Chua, Raye, Xiaohui, Peter, are you guys reading this?

If Bi were to ever buy Netball as a gift, my heart would sore.

Probably it means he is insensate towards my lifestyle, having living with him for this long.

But he didn't. Thank God for that. I got a Coach Bag instead with the companion of sumptuous American style breakfast!

I'm a sucker for romantic obsession.

Indulging in an impromptu escapade simply merry up my day! The spontaneity unbolts my bottomless heart, willing to love and receive love once again. =)

Indeed, I appreciate all those extra mile my darling went, in spicing up our love life.

Let's not take our partner for granted, ever if it is an insignificant act of service.

I could truly go on and on with a very self-indulgent rant of this issue, but that wouldn't change the current climate of romance.

We can't always manage our heartstring when they are being pulled in a diverse direction.

Yes, matters of the heart will always matter so much!

So let's start believing one of the greatest ways to be happy is to take pre-emptive measures against unhappiness!

It is doable. :)

Happy Valentine's to all you. Especially my Darling far away in Melbourne.

Long Awaited Day

Yippeeeee!

Baby is returning tomorrow, touching down at 1715.

It had been an elongated 8 days.

Some said this space us apart, but I affirm our hearts grew fonder!

As his ideal wife, I have coped to tidy up the whole house, waiting for his return.

It might sound simple, yet it's a decision that took some time to muster the courage to work upon.
*Wide Smile*

It's an impromptu decision. But the aftermath is laudable!

Spick & Span.

Frankfurt NewYork is a sinner. For those who knew what I meant.

It was a charity flight.

And to think there was another shopping queen, to swirl up Bi's buying sensation.

She is none other than my future sister-in-law! Lol

Well, I reckon the real cause would have to be my Coach Bag & Papillio.

Not forgetting the other killer, Penny's Mart too.

Can't wait to embrace "them" tight in my arms tomorrow evening.

It's a reward for sleeping alone each of the past 7 nights!

I truly deserve it. *BIG smirk*

A BIG thanks to all my dear friend which have contributed to each of my "singlehood" days.

Be it mahjong, coffee, shopping, ktv or even hibernating. I truthfully enjoyed them. :D

Let's do more soon!

Chance upon an anonymous blog.

Not that unspecified though, we did cross each other's path 3 years ago, or maybe 2.

She echoes so down in the dumps. Which I have least expected it.

I have always presupposed she is a strident and chirpy lady, which likes to be a blessing to others. She sounded otherwise.

Bits of memory came crawling back. I remembered how obstinate she was! She was firm on herself having no such wrongdoings!

Some misunderstanding happened where words no longer exchanged.

Let just say, I despise pretentious woman like her.

This bridge had never been my slightest intention to reconciliate after the blaze!

Call me an imp, but I am feeling pretty alright grasping her miserable way of life.

Many good reasons to grin tonight!

Sweet dreams folks. :)

Beautiful Love

If I took a few moments to look back over my life, I came to recall one single moment that changed it completely.

One special time when I realized that there was a meaning to life that I had never considered.

A moment where everything else's paled and faded by comparison.

One particular person who opened up the world for me, and gave me a sense of my existence.

That person could only be my Hubby.

I can't imagine ever feeling so safe, so secure and so loved than I feel right now.

He enchanted me with his presence.

It's hard to imagine that we both had totally different lives before.

Remember our 1st date? I thought you had chosen her over me.

Thinking that I might have made a spectacle of myself, I couldn't be more elated than to see you standing in front of the pet shop in your smart charming dress sense.

I knew by then, you have made your choice!

Pacing towards you, I and saw a pair of ticket freeing in the air.

Never to our expectations, that movie was a sheer disappointment.

I guess the context of the show is an alien to us, till now! =P

We did nothing inside the theatre but "ah-hem"! Gee

Thankfully, that quixotic stroll to orchard saved the later part of the day.

Maybe that first date was a hint of what was to come. Untraditional and always interesting. That's us. Can you imagine us ever being bored?

I cannot imagine my life without you in the center of it.

Like the leaves of a crisp autumn morning, your love colors my life and makes me give thanks for all that you bring me.

You are my treasure.

And I can't wait to see what's ahead! :)
