Rise & Shine

Woke up to a lovely morning.

With the tranquil sun dazzlingly above, the quilt, bedsheet, covers will soon be ready to stride back into the cupboard! =)

Make this morning beautiful than ever!

And with my adoring dad delivering breakfast right to my doorstep, i am more than contented.

Tell me, which man would wake up at 6am to do housekeeping, knowing that he could have well gone back to his beauty sleep after all. And which man would walk a distance to fetch a little playful piggy every single morning, without a word of grumble in these 9 months or so.

My darling? Na, its my daddy.

Mummy ought to be slap in the face.

Audaciously segregating all the household chores to my dad, she had the cheek to whimper and whine!

PMS. Hormones surge. She exclaimed! *BISH*

Though both are valid excuses (Note that I dun call it a reason), she should have played a more affectionate role of the wife.

Like those in the soap opera, soft spoken, cooks for the husband, clean up the house, wash clothes, and most of all, doll up and make your hubby proud!

Even if she couldn't attain all of the above mentioned points, i should think the least she can do is to make effort to converse in a nice tone. She sounds as if she is a transvestite. Kaos...

I suppose this is what i always say, mutual toleration of each other in a marriage.

Something about the closure seems constricting and not enabling.

Probably dad and mum got married for reasons of social acceptability, or sexual fever (Which I strongly beg to differ, they are not even sleeping on the same bed!) or just because they thought it was a logical thing to do so.

Sometimes I wonder where the love is. Seize by Virgo I should think so.

Then again, my mum is always smugly boosting away of having an excellent husband that do not flirt at all.

I should be happy for her.

Just pray that they dun bicker, else there will be no one taking care of Xavier.

Baby is coming back this evening; plane is touching down at 1855.

Am gonna give him a surprise at the airport with Mr. Naughty. It has been a long while - 4 days, since we last hug each other.

Perceptibly missing him!

Shall upload photos of my ah yi's wedding the next time I log on.

Have a smashing new year's eve! =)

The One & Only . . .

Without siblings to play with them, ONLY children are perceived to be lonely and incapable of forming loving relationships. They tend not to follow instructions since they often have things their way.

Am ghastly reminded again. BIG sigh. =(

In contrary, parenting an only child is a luxury, at least to me.

I truly enjoy the experience of parenthood without totally waving goodbye to my social life.

Shopping, partying, facial, mahjong, hibernating - they are still my second, third or even forth best friend till now.

And we have the lavishness of buying the nicest clothes, mouth-watering food, bizarre toys, and utmost pay out insurance for Xavier. Without feeling a pinch.

You would be strikingly smart to grasp that I am transferring my guilt away.

Yes, am certainly.

Not that we are not planning for a second one, its way too traumatize for me.

Mental stress plus "physical burden". C'mon, putting on a good 22kg in 10 months ain't a joke!

I came a long way.

Now that I have shed off 15kg, I am not accustomed to it.

Stagnation makes me feel agonized and demoralize; however I am not whitewashed.

I would have long given up when I was 80kg, thank God for darling.

He was, or rather, he is always there for me, relentlessly. My pillar of support, my tower of happiness.

Too much of a drift, back to the initial topic, only child.

Was advised by my pediatric that as long as the parents shows good behavioral paradigm of sharing, caring, the kid would probably grow up that way.

In fact, only children are more giving, as they never had to fight with their siblings to protect their things! =D

Also, they often relate well to adults, as they are used to it from young.

This, experts believe, make my only child a good listener, and more self-assured and confident!

Ah ah, its all by the experts, nothing from me.

Its not a self praise, as I am blatantly cognizant that it is an international disgrace to do that.

But who knows, you could well be receiving our "red eggs" in 10 months time. =P

The loves of my life...

Merry Christmas

Darling has just reached Shanghai.

Just parted for 8 hours, I am perturbed!

But well, am having an extravaganza party with friends and family members later.

And thank God he will be back at 2155 tomorrow.

At least we could be a merry couple for an endearing 2 hours.

Which is not a bad thing either.

Look on the bright side Yan!

Merry Xmas to all, have a smashing and wonderful time.

Be back soon. =)

Congratulations Batch 887

If I remember everyone's name correctly.

Dave, Clive, Eugene, Jeremy, Bernard, Paul, Alex, Hafiz, Hagen, George, Yun Mun, Soo Ping, Caren, Priscilla, Li Kiang, Arrissa, Nash & Ferrene.

All those hard work paid off.

Attended their graduation ceremony on Tuesday, 19 December 2006.

Though it was a floppish last minute preparation, everything turned out to be perfectly tuned!

The dance was amazingly good!

Nash motivates me to take up dancing. She is one of the greatest dancers I seen. You know the monotonously great Singapore workout? She had her way too! =)

Eugene is so ever talented to revise the original Xmas carol - Let is snow, to a wonderfully combed lyrics that comprises the "zapping" airline industry. Way to go dude!

The crowd was mesmerized when both Dave & Hagen sang the remix song. I even heard someone whispered: WA!

They have won our heart immensely.

Of cos not forgetting the heart surging role play. Hafiz, we know how dreadful it is to spend your Xmas eve alone in a stranger country. =(

I reckon one of the most exhilarating point in crew life is the moment you know you're going to fly.

The anticipation of where you would be flying to every other month.

May you guys have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, and enough hope to make you happy.

And no matter what happens, Family comes first!

Cheers to your new life. A Future so beyond imagination. =)

That wild night at Yishun Safra

Not that the night was much undomesticated, rather, the place seems wilder. *Wide smile*

Our very first time to Yishun Safra.

And listen up hard, it's Party World inside Yishun Safra.

My God!

When did we downgrade ourselves to "HDB Aunties & Uncles" when there are many Party World scattered around our small island!

But the 1 for 1 drink changed my perception utterly.

In addition to that, tibits were free flowed!

Couldn't be that bad after all.

Alright, call me a squirrel, cheapskate, miser whichever you suppose that makes you pleased!

Last but not least, the star appearance of that day;

Le'vince that cutie pie.

His virgin KTV can!

Post Script: Alan, i miss your "Bu Lu", but most of all, your "One million"!!!!

Our group of misers! =)
Note that i had covered up that bitch's eyes to protect her intergrity!

Post post Script: Pauline tan, if you dare intimidate such a kind-hearted person like me again, I proclaim to removed those "shades" I put on for you!

Around the world in 70 days

Darling has been traveling a lot these days.

He is now in Mumbai, which I unthinkingly do not comprehend why SIA named it Bombay till now.

I guess it takes after the international airport code. Fish it man, not too much of a problem caused anyway. =)

Just hung up with him, am elated to heed that he is still thrust alive!

Not that I am xenophobic or whatsoever, but I guess Indian is a place where you would smell it way before you arrive at it.

Sorry folks, but I really cannot stand that smell.

Imagine 10000 times stronger than our infamous Mustafa centre? FAINTS.

I salute you if you withstand the smell.

Else we ain't no moral saint. Nothing wrong loathing it.

At least am more ethical in contrast to her that denounce 'hor sin'

She knows best who I am referring to.
*Big Grin*

Enough said of those smell and 'hor sin'.

Speaking of traveling, darling almost got all the good flights, even up coming months.

Christmas Eve to Shanghai all might know, 2 days later to London, and follow by Tapei LA.

Then comes Hong kong Frisco, Frankfurt New York.

Of course, I am not exclusively happy for him, it just connote that he will not be home more than usual.

Yet again, he always tells me that his heart is with me whenever he is away. I shall cheerfully trust in what he claims.
*Humble smiles*

Love deepens by trusting, isn't it?

Bought a John Gray book recently - Mars & Venus in the bedroom.

Thought it was a lovely book, clearly depicted and goes out to my heart.

Shared my view with a friend, but she considered it BORED.

Too wordy she says.

If each individual interprets the same meaning from a story, then surely Literature is not a subject to discuss at all?

The book, in any case you might be interested! :)

Santa Claus is coming to town

15 days away from Christmas.

I am convinced all you out there endure the madness too.

Christmas has always been my favourite holiday.

The thing that pacify me the most about this season: Truth!

At Christmas, you let know the truth. In return, you hear the truth. :)

Other than the truth gizmo, of course SHOPPING plays an extraordinarily significant part as to why I have crowned it my favourite event of the year!

Besides the compounded difficulty of going anywhere during this season due to the shopping spree among all ladies, otherwise Christmas is perfect!

The anticipation of who-will-buy-what, brings out the child side in everyone.

But the saddest thing this year; Darling would be in PVG, Shanghai I mean on the said day.

1st Christmas with Xavier, and he got called away.

Would only be back by Boxing Day.

This goes to explain so much as to why I am not yearning any of those momentarily Christmas sentiment.

No mood.

Not even a single pressie underneath our Christmas tree.

As compared to last year, we even had a pot luck party!

Indeed, Christmas is a time of Love.

Thank God, there is Xavier. The other Love of my life.

Then again, he is too young to enjoy Christmas with me. =((

Alright, stop that whine ranting!

I've decided amidst all grief; would rather capitalize it since there's nothing much I could do with bi's roster.

Mrs Chong suggested party at my place; yet again.

Without apprehending the actuality of which I know the reason behind the chosen place.

Yes clever you, cos she dun have to clear the after-party's mess!

(#)*$#()*%$(^&$(^*$)%#)@&$()$*^($%$*

On xuan's account, I buy that story once more.

Miss Tan, could you come up with the agenda? Whichever you called it, itinerary or whatsoever.

Else, maybe there are some families activities that I can pretend to grudgingly attend.

Nah, am joking.

My families do not practice Christmas celebration (apart from Ferng & Hu).

They probably would be in their unchained hokkien tone: "Simi krishmed, wu lang ah mi si jia hong gao"! Pengz.

I did tried to organize, one time too many. I gave up.

So back to Mrs Chong, remember to give me the pipeline 5 days before the eve.

For all you know, Santa could well be coming! =))

Welcome to our HOME SWEET HOME...

Last Christmas!

This Christmas!

And of cos, the many many more Christmas to come! =))

HAPPY ENTRY

I was enlightened by many that my previous entries were way too sour.

And it almost tear them, including teenies like Jurvia(It's entirely my fault)!

Hence, am gonna depict a happy-ever-after chronicle now.

There it goes . . .

Long long time ago, there lived a princess by the name of Lynn.

Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah,

Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah,

There came her prince charming, Dave, whom fervently kissed her mouth,

And they live happily ever after!

The Prince & Princess!

p/s: I deduce you should be enchanted in reading such a happy entry! :)
